Super Friendly, efficient service Great for takeaway or a quick sit-down bite The cod was beautifully crispy on the outside and tender inside, clearly fried to order. The best Fish and Chips I've been to. Beats Platten's at Wells and Waldo's at Sutton OS. Very friendly staff and the building itself is well-cleaned and organised. Ordered a large haddock and small chips; Dad had mushy peas and small chips. Haddock was very large (gr8!) with thin batter (which is good); meat itself was delicious - flaked away perfectly and was piping hot. Small chips are actually a large portion (but that's just me lol). The fish is cooked to order so it is extra fresh. However, the peas were a little hard. Be back again and definitely recommend it!

The food is fresh and very tasty!! The XL fish feeds more than one. The batter is delicious. Love the deep fried jaffa cakes and oreos too!! The staff are delightful, always smiling, always make you feel like a very valued customer. I love having such a brilliant fish and chip shop close to Hopme Pierrepont to satisfy my huge appetite after being on the water. Highly recommend 10/10 👌

I wanted kebab meat and chips but I’m not great on my legs I have sciatica and need to walk with two sticks and can’t climb steps. I messaged Lady Bay and asked if I could pick it up at 1.30 the wonderful lady that runs the counter said message me when you are here, which I did and by 1.40 I was on my settee eating it. Excellent service and they are really nice people I have been going there since they took it over. It’s unbeatable in West Bridgford probably Notts. If you haven’t tried them you must, if you are new to the area don’t bother trying any where else.
